She Purty!

Thank you for a very interesting post… it’s funny how you don’t know how little you know about something until you hear a professional speaking about it.

Does all the stuff about lighting matter if you’re just taking the pictures with your cell phone?…

Although I doubt I’ll take up the serious pursuit of photography… it has always been interesting to me how easy it is to manipulate perception with lighting, color, perspective, etc. It kind of gives you a little deeper insight into how you see things in daily life!

When I was younger (about 30 years ago) I wanted to be a photographer. I purchased all the equipment – Cannon SLR, darkroom equipment, books, magazines. I really enjoyed taking photos and developing them myself. I was an enthusiastic amateur.

But the passion fizzled out. I don’t remember why.
